CreditPoint Software is a fully-integrated system that provides both credit and collections functionality.  The credit function assists the user in understanding and quantifying credit risk, and fostering the establishment of customer optimal credit limits.  The solution then facilitates management of the customer life cycle through workflow tools.

The collections function is critical for controlling Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and the resulting cash flow issues.  CreditPoint Software automates much of the administrative side of managing a collections department, from daily workflow tools to the documentation of accounts receivable activities. 

One such example is as follows:  If an average S&P® company reduces its DSO by one day, it would free up $31 million in cash.  Assuming only a 3% interest cost, the company would have reduced interest cost of $930,000 with only a one-day reduction in DSO.  This value is substantiated by the cost savings realized by Castrol, whose credit and collections manager said “Within the first year, our estimated cost savings was more than $1.14 million.”
